One Book One Community. 

Each fall Stark County residents join together to read a common book and share ideas through lively—and challenging—community conversation. 1 in 4 Stark County residents are concerned with the growing addiction epidemic, yet due to the stigma surrounding addiction, only an estimated 25% of addicts will ever seek help.

This year’s book selection casts stigma aside to confront the topic first hand with Beautiful Boy: A Father’s Journey Through His Son’s Addiction by David Sheff. Young readers will join the conversation with HIGH: Everything You Want to Know About Drugs by David and Nic Sheff.

This fall, join us for a series of events exploring this challenging community topic.
