Nic and I are privileged to be honorees at the 23rd Annual Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services Erasing the Stigma Awards

Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services is a nonprofit mental health agency that has been providing free mental health, substance use and suicide prevention services to people in poverty for 75 years. Today, the agency serves more than 120,000 children and adults from 10 locations and 100 schools throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

In 1997, Didi Hirsch launched the Erasing the Stigma Leadership Awards by honoring Tipper Gore for helping to erase the stigma of mental illness and has since recognized dozens of artists, authors and advocates who have used their voices to inspire hope and increase support for mental health care. Past participants include Quincy Jones, former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, Dustin Hoffman, Annette Bening, Carrie Fisher, former Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy, Terry Bradshaw, Kid Cudi, Ronda Rousey, Melissa Rivers and Judy Collins.
